ABOUT

Carly Monardo is an artist and performer living in Brooklyn, NY. She has over a decade of experience (despite being incredibly youthful) and has worked behind the scenes on such animated favorites as The Venture Bros., Steven Universe, Blaze and the Monster Machines. She is the character design lead and illustrated the opening sequence for Birdgirl on Adult Swim. She was a finalist for the Concept Art Awards Excellence in Character Concept Art in 2021 for her work on Birdgirl.

In 2020 Carly illustrated Stuff You Should Know: An Incomplete Compendium of Mostly Interesting Things, by Josh Clark, Chuck Bryant, and Nils Parker — a New York Times bestseller. This was followed by How to Take Over the World: Practical Schemes and Scientific Solutions for the Aspiring Supervillain by bestselling author Ryan North in 2021.

She is a cast member on Rude Tales of Magic, a comedy/DnD podcast (named as Best New Voice in Actual Play Podcasting by AV Club) available for listening on your favorite podcast apps!
